Kathleen Cray-Kaden has worked more than 40 years in the Health Information Management field in a variety of roles, including Director/Acting Director of HIM Departments and Senior Vice President at Network, inc. a local hospital and healthcare consulting company. Over the years, she has presented a myriad of educational programs to hospital and medical staffs throughout the tri-state area and to professional organizations, such as the local chapters of AHIMA and the HFMA on a wide variety on HIM-related topics.
She learned Progressive Muscle Relaxation while taking master’s level psychology courses and since has frequently shared this knowledge with friends and co-workers to help them manage stress.
PRESENTATION: Stress Management with Progressive Muscle Relaxation
Progressive muscle relaxation is an exercise that relaxes your mind and body by progressively tensing and relaxation muscle groups throughout your entire body. You will learn how to reduce stress by tensing and relaxing each muscle group and learning to recognize the the difference between the tensed and relaxed muscles.
This taining session will be conducted in a darkened room and participants should wear loose comfortable clothing.
