Congratulations on choosing a career in Health Information Management! 

 On behalf of the members and supporters of NJHIMA, the Scholarship Fund Board is pleased  to announce that up to three scholarships, each for $1,000, will be awarded to deserving students this coming June at the NJHIMA Annual Meeting in Atlantic City.

We encourage you to apply if you are:

• a student currently enrolled in an AHIMA accredited or candidacy status HIT Associate Degree program, in any state, entering the last year of your program in the Fall Semester 2010,  OR
   

• a student currently enrolled in an AHIMA accredited or candidacy status HIA Bachelors Degree program, in any state, entering the last year of your program in the Fall Semester 2010,  AND
   

• a Resident of the State of New Jersey,  AND
   

• a member of AHIMA with New Jersey as your designated CSA
   

• have never been awarded a NJHIMA scholarship

In addition to the above, you must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale as of 12/31/09.
